Do we respect for water?
Just for the sake of few drops of water, is there any need to keep
the Lives of common people in risk?
Do we need to pull water from the villages, to make the cities run
with plenty of water?
If we keep on questioning ourselves we find endless questions and a
few answers to them.
The recent statistics on water crisis spreading the alarming message
to the human kind.If we don’t respect water resources, don’t foresee the
serious consequences that will happen in future, we would harm our race with
our own hands. There are many evidences that underground water in many places
have come to a very low level and many places have been turning into desert
zones.
Many pipelines have been laid running from the villages to the
cities in order to meet the demands of city people, leaving the village people
thirsty and making them to consider that getting a few drops of water is
precious. Nature has given the enough resources to all. But the resources present in
villages are being shifted to cities and they are paying their energies to get
a few drops of water. Is this not a social injustice?
Are we not having sufficient rains in India? the answer is, “NO.”
Then why we face the crisis? Because we are failing in storing them .
Most of the Rain water is going of no use unknowingly. The effects of water
wastage ,Misuse and Contamination leading to other Disasters which are mostly
unseen by us and slowing harming the people.
If there are some people who constantly fighting to save the
resources, why can’t we join this cause
and do the needful. On this occasion, I feel very inspiring and felt happy for
the great work, Aamir Khan is doing in enlightening the people on major issues
of the country in his Show “satyamev jayathe.”
The episode focussed on water scarcity and related issuses on 22nd
july, showcased the real situation in India.
Rain harvesting schemes need to implemented strictly and a Cautious
usage of water is foremost thing we need to adopt in saving the water resources for our next generations.
